This work constitutes the effort of three students of the Master's in Urban Studies and a teacher, to understand the phenomenon of habitability in the Azcapotzalco delegation. To fulfill this purpose, the professor, a specialist in qualitative methods, makes the presentation and introduces the reader to the case study methodology.The experience of an architect in the Azcapotzalco delegation, member of the Housing Institute of the Federal District, is resumed. Likewise, it shows how through the housing program of the Federal District, the homes of three families in San Juan Tlilhuaca, Azcapotzalco have been renovated. Finally, in the same town, a photographic analysis was carried out that shows the enormous transformations of said demarcation in a few years.
