Everything that affects man affects the city. Therefore, studying cities requires an approach from multiple disciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches in the search for definitions, ideas and novel approaches. It is even necessary to rethink what was previously stated in the face of the dissimilar positions generated in the last two decades within studies on the city. This interest in reflection and discussion around the problems of cities is shown in the research published in the three sections that make up the 2015 Anuario de Espacios Urbanos: A perspective on urban studies, Urban space and Urban history.
