Professor Lisett Márquez Lopez has a PhD in Urbanism from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (2012), a Master's in Regional Studies from the Dr. José María Luis Mora Research Institute (2005) and a Degree in Design of Human Settlements from the Autonomous University Metropolitan (1997). From January 2018 to September 2019, he was responsible for the Héctor Marcovich Chair, of the Department of Theory and Analysis, of the Division of Sciences and Arts for Design of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. She is Full Professor C of the Division of Sciences and Arts for Design at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Xochimilco Unit. Author of 20 refereed articles, published in Latin American countries and Canada, and has participated in two collective books, focused on the study of urban, economic, social and territorial development of the Metropolitan Area of ​​the Valley of Mexico.
