Paisaje sonoro, espacio público y ciudadanía. Entre la propuesta de R. M. Schafer y la Norma ISO 12913

El concepto de paisaje sonoro se ha concebido de diversas maneras. Si bien el compositor y ambientalista R. M. Schafer creó el concepto y la idea del paisaje sonoro, esta ha permeado a una importante cantidad de disciplinas. Desde el mundo de la acústica, se creó un grupo que ha propuesto una norma aplicable en distintas disciplinas centrando su planteamiento en la percepción humana. Este estudio persigue realizar un examen de la evolución entre ambas propuestas para determinar el proceso que se ha dado. Esto implica realizar una comparación entre conceptos y métodos, interpretaciones y mediciones, en la concepción del paisaje sonoro urbano. Se persigue así que se establezca cuál ha sido el camino que se ha seguido entre ambas propuestas. De esta manera, se enriquece el proceso de conciliación del concepto de paisaje sonoro a la luz de la ciencia, el arte, las humanidades y la ciudadanía.Citas
