The first volume of the 1993 edition of Signos is devoted to history. Although the order in which the articles appear is chronological (From discovery to independence, 20th century and 10th century) I will review the Humanities Yearbook by dividing it into two groups: general essays and monographic studies. Within the first I include texts by Enrique Canudas, Lothar Knauth and Javier MacGregor. In the second I incorporate articles by Martha Ortega, Carlos Herrero, Sonia Pérez Toledo, Antonio Santoyo, María del Rosario Pérez Castaño and the recently deceased Juan Patula...
