Aims y Scope
Anuario de Espacios Urbanos, Historia, Cultura y Diseño is a scientific journal specializing in the analysis and reflection on issues related to cities from the perspective of urban studies. The Anuario de Espacios Urbanos, Historia, Cultura y Diseño emerged as an editorial project in 1993 and since then it has been published year after year without interruption. Its contents are aimed at a specialized audience. The journal receives research papers, essays and book reviews and they are subjected to double-blind peer review. The yearbook has become a site for the discussion of urban studies. Your access to all content is freely available.
In the Articles section, works related to theoretical research, methodological proposals, results of academic projects are received. The Essays section includes theoretical reflections on topics related to the interest of the journal. The Book Reviews section includes comments on recent publications that, due to their relevance, deserve to be disseminated through a specialized magazine. The Interviews section includes conversations with specialists in the urban field.
It is published in Spanish with abstracts and keywords in English, Portuguese and Spanish. It appears in the last quarter of each year in an electronic version with free access and a printed version. The magazine is edited by the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana through the Division of Sciences and Arts for Design, the Design Evaluation Department and the Urban Studies Area. The yearbook has a presence in Latindex.
