The study of the recreational public space of La Plata has the purpose of publicizing the benefits that these areas bring, not only to the environment and urbanism, but primarily to society. The treatment of everyday public spaces for recreational activities multiplies the actions and the diversity of solutions to numerous problems suffered by large metropolises, for the simple fact that recreation improves the human condition of its citizens. The urban conformation of La Plata is chosen as an example and case study, because its construction is given from the plan with aesthetic, functional and technological details, but outstandingly highlighting a system of open public spaces that since its foundation in 1882 until today , follow this research presents some ideas, concepts and proposals so that the recreational public space is considered a priority ethical-moral variable within urban planning and planning in the growth and development of cities.
