Open Access
Editorial manager in open access
The AEUHCD uses the Open Journal Systems (OJS), developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), as an open access editorial management system. This manager continues to adapt to the needs of the Magazine. Although for the moment it is used as a repository, it will eventually allow control of the entire editorial process of the Journal in digital format, from the receipt of the articles submitted by the authors to the final publication of the number.
Open access policy
ANUARIO DE ESPACIOS URBANOS, HISTORIA, CULTURA Y DISEÑO provides its readers with immediate open access to its content based on the principle that making research available to the public, free of charge, fosters the global exchange of knowledge. Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full text of the articles published in this Journal.
Item handling charges
The AEUHCD does not charge fees for receiving, processing or publishing articles (Article Processing Charge [APC]) submitted by authors.
Copyright
The authors grant the AEUHCD permission for their material to be disseminated in the magazine and digital media. The patrimonial rights of the research articles, essays and book reviews published in AEUHCD are transferred to the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, after the academic and editorial acceptance of the original so that it can be published and distributed in both printed and electronic versions; the authors retain their moral rights as established by law. The authors will receive a letter of transfer of economic rights that must be signed. On the other hand, the authors may use the material of their text in other works or books published by themselves, with the condition of citing the AEUHCD as the original source of the research. It is the responsibility of the authors to obtain in writing the corresponding authorization for all the material that they include in their work and that is protected by the Copyright Law.
